Happening at Heights High
In addition to having enormous success in the pool this year, the Heights High swim teams have earned national recognition as All-American Scholar Teams for achieving among the highest grade point averages in the country.
Heights High School's Marketing Career and Technical Education (CTE) students recently participated in the Reaching Heights Role Models Program, a multi-week, career-readiness initiative made possible through a partnership with KeyBank. This innovative program provided students with direct access to financial professionals and real-world business experiences that extended far beyond the classroom.
The Heights High School volleyball program is offering two summer camps for boys and girls currently in grades K-8 and 9-12. The elementary and middle school camp will run from July 9 through 11 and the high school camp will run from July 23 through 25.
Meet Alexis, Aniyah, Brandon, Christopher Da’Myah, Dametriana, Darrian, Honest’ee, Ja’Don, Joziah, Kayla, Kendall, Shaniya, and Sheridan, the Class of 2025 members of the Superintendent’s Cadre. These Cadre members have been meeting with Liz Kirby monthly and have been instrumental in addressing everything from enhancing security measures and installing metal detectors in the high school to bringing about an off-campus lunch policy to reward juniors and seniors with good attendance and good behavior.
The evening of Tuesday, May 6th was a lucrative one for Heights High's graduating seniors. More than 100 members of the Class of 2025 walked away from the Senior Recognition Awards Program with a combined total of $147,000.
