Heights High School seniors Eleanor Lubbers, Gabriel Mallamand and Lev McFarland have been named National Merit Scholarship Semifinalists in the 2026 competition. The three seniors have the opportunity to advance to the Finalist level in February and qualify for one of the 6,930 National Merit Scholarships that are worth nearly $26 million.
In this letter, Heights High School's Guidance Team shares important information with students and families regarding the upcoming in-person PSAT testing day for 10th and 11th graders and college and career readiness activities for 9th and 12th graders that will take place on October 15, 2025.

Heights Career Tech invites the community to the 3rd annual "Fall In Love With CTE" Fair on Saturday, October 18 from 12 to 3 p.m. at Heights High. The event is free and will showcase the opportunities and benefits of the Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs in the Heights Career Tech Consortium.

Dr. Shu Hui Lin, Cleveland Heights High School's Mandarin Chinese Language and Business teacher, has received the 2025 Ohio Master Teacher Award of Excellence from the Martha Holden Jennings Foundation.
