Heights High to Host Northeast Suburban College Fair, March 19

Heights High School will host the 29th annual Cleveland Northeast Suburban College Fair on Thursday, March 19 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. in the Heights High Competition Gym.

In the Mini Auditorium from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., there will be an "Is an HBCU for Me?" workshop designed for high school scholars and families to explore the value and fit of Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Participants will experience and HBCU 101 overview, hear powerful alumni reflections through the 15 Unforgettable Moments panel, learn about campus visits, and gain access to post-secondary scholarships and resources to support their college journey.

College Now, GEAR UP, and Educational Talent Search (TRIO) will hold an informational session from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. in the Cafeteria for junior families about the admissions process, ACT and SAT test preparation, and educational improvement and volunteering opportunities.

Heights High freshman and sophomores will also have the opportunity to learn more about the Career and Technical Education programs that are available in the Heights Career Tech Consortium.

Heights High School is located at 13263 Cedar Road. Parking is available on site and in the parking deck across the street. An additional free parking lot is available at the corner of Cedar and Edgewood, some of the parking spots are permit only.

Students can register here for the college fair. Registering is not required, but highly encouraged.

We are also looking for student volunteers to assist with set up and through out the fair. Students can sign up by filling out the student volunteer form.
