Lin Receives 2025 Ohio Master Teacher of the Year Award

Dr. Shu Hui Lin, Cleveland Heights High School's Mandarin Chinese Language and Business teacher, has received the 2025 Ohio Master Teacher of the Year award from the Martha Holden Jennings Foundation.

According to the Martha Holden Jennings Foundation (MHJF), this award is presented to an exceptional classroom teacher who was nominated by their superintendent and has three years of experience as an Ohio teacher. It also includes a $7,500 award to be used for a project to benefit students in the recognized teacher's classroom, school, and/or district.

"At the MHJF, we believe that education is the cornerstone of a thriving society," stated Dr. Renée T. Willis, MHJF Executive Director. "In these challenging times, we remain steadfast in our commitment to Ohio's educators and public schools."

Lin received the award at the Martha Holden Jennings Foundation's annual Educators Awards Banquet in Cleveland in July.
